Born on Ibiza, Rebeca Ramis has appreciated fashion since she was a girl. She received a degree in clothing model-making from the Escola d’Arts of Ibiza and Formentera and served her apprenticeship under Luis Ferrer. After three years submitting pieces to the young designers’ contest of the Balearic Islands, she came home a winner in 2009 on the strength of her collection “Un sueño de África”.
In 2014 she launched her own line of bespoke clothing and accessories, Rebeca Ramis, and débuted her creations on the 44th Adlib runway in 2015.
Rebeca’s sources of inspiration have remained unchanged over the years: her cherished Ibiza, its white sand beaches and turquoise waters, its light and history.
Chiefly summer wear, the collections of Rebeca Ramis deploy western cuts and tried-and-true Adlib style, falling back on white lace and cotton. Rebeca Ramis also produces a line of accessories which encompasses costume jewellery, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, handbags and hand-painted pareos.
